World-Class Technical Education

A World-Class Continuing Education's goal is to provide people with "a life time of learning" to enable them to enjoy their journey through life.  Board members, presidents, and deans are held accountable to the following value based World-Class Technical Performance Objectives and Measures.

Performance Objectives:

  • All students, except students continuing their education, have career jobs.
  • Technical education payback is one year.
  • University placement rate over 95 percent  (100% less unemployment rate).
  • Students graduate with certificates/diplomas

Performance Measures evaluate how the school is meeting their Performance Objectives.

  • Percent graduating students continuing their education.
  • Percent students, not continuing their education, with career jobs.
  • Percent students who dropping out.
  • Technical Education payback rate (student's average starting salary/cost of education)
  • Percent students graduate with a certificates/diplomas.

Mentor technical schools, who have 90-95% of their students meeting or exceeding the World-Class Technical Educational Performance Objectives, are identified and help other schools achieve similar results.  For state supported technical schools, the school's performance is used in the next year's evaluation for school funding.
