Spacecraft In this century, million of people will be going to space stations, Moons, Mars, other planets, and stars to explore, work, and vacation in space. For different types of spacecraft are need for exploring space: space shuttle, space planes, planetary craft, and starships. Space Shuttle was initially intended to transport thousands of people to circular space station. However, NASA converted the space shuttle from carrying people to delivering satellites into space and materials to the International Space Station. Since the space shuttle is based upon thirty-year-old technology, space shuttles need to be replaced Space Planes will enable thousands of people to travel to the space stations orbiting the earth. According to our political leaders, the United States has planes that can travel any where in the world within hours. A simple calculation shows the planes are traveling over ten times the speed of sound. This technology should be declassified and made available to American companies for commercialization. Space travel will be as easy going to the airport and getting on an airplane. Spacecraft will allow people to travel at sub-warp speeds to explore asteroids, moons and planets in our solar system. People will travel to space stations in minutes, Moon colonies in hours and colonies on the planets in days. By the end of the century, colonization of the planets and their moons will have taken place as millions of people will be traveling in space. Starships will take people at warp speeds to the stars within weeks. Starships will travel faster than the speed of light and use antimatter as a source of energy. The starships will look like the U.S.S. Enterprise. The starships will enable people to explore the billions of stars and planets within our Milky Way Galaxy. The trillion of dollars of research and development, undertaken by the federal government over the last fifty years, should be declassified to help jump start the space exploration. For the United States to have a World-Class educational system, the teachers and professors should have access to knowledge for education America's students. |
