News Release 22
World-Class Education and Property Tax Relief Legislation
Tuesday, October 26, 2004

The Illinois Leader published the article entitled, " A plan for school funding that would benefit both students and taxpayers." Students are provided with education and career opportunities to fulfill their dreams and taxpayers receive property tax relief.

Community, business, educators, parents and students are extremely interest. World-Class Schools are identified and replicated. The school board members, superintendents, and principals are held accountable to outcome based World-Class Performance Objectives and Measures and empowered to provide Illinois' students with a World-Class Education.

For Illinois' children to receive a World-Class Education and taxpayers to obtain Property Tax Relief, state legislation is needed to distribute the $9.4 billion Illinois State Board of Education Budget to directly to the schools and provide taxpayers with Property Tax Relief.
