Commercialization of Space

People in spacecraft will be traveling to space stations in minutes, Moon in hours, and planets in days. Five grams of antimatter (mass of a nickel) is equal to five Saturn V rockets. Initially, antimatter will cost about $1 billion per gram; and as technology advances, the costs will drop to under $1 million per gram as metric tons of antimatter become available.

The travel cost to the space stations will drop from $500 million for Space Shuttle and $20 million paid by Dennis Tito & Mark Shuttleworth to less than $200,000 per person.

Space Facilities will mine asteroids, the moons, & planets to manufacture products.  For example, one of the millions of asteroids is the size of a large open pit mine, is composed of nickel, cobalt, & iron and is value at $20 trillion.

Based upon market survey, millions of Americans are interest in space travel and tourism.
